Waterloo-Pinckney Trail
The Waterloo-Pinckney Crucible will be held on April 20, 2024! This event is a 22 mile self-supported endurance hike along the beautiful Waterloo-Pinckney Trail. Hikers will begin and end at Portage Lake (42.3327440,-84.2376780). Click HERE for the address. Participants will have 12 hours (8am-8pm) to complete the route and will receive a patch if successful. Hikers will also receive an event tshirt during registration the morning of the event. Aid stations will be a four to six mile intervals where Crucible Crew Staff will be posted with log books. Rustic camping is available at the Crucible Village, which is conveniently located at the event site. Camping is only $30 per person and includes both Friday (April 19) and Saturday (April 20) nights.

Jordan Valley Pathway
The Jordan Valley Pathway Crucible will be held on October 5, 2024! The Jordan Valley Pathway Crucible is a 20 mile loop near Elmira, Michigan. Hikers will begin and end at The Crucible Village located HERE
Participants will have 12 hours (8am to 8pm) to complete The Crucible hiking route and will receive a patch if successful. Hikers will also receive an event tshirt during registration the morning of the event. Check point locations will be at 4-7 mile intervals where our amazing Crucible Crew Staff will be posted with log books. Rustic camping is available at The Crucible Village for tents and small RV’s. There are no trees for hammocks. Camping is only $30 per person and includes both Friday (October 4) and Saturday (October 5) nights.
